May 1, 2007: The New Boat is Operational  Company 1 announced its new 2007 Rescue One Connector Boat dubbed "Marine 1" is now fully operational. It was purchased from BPC Rescue Equipment in Massachusetts and replaces our old zodiac boat. We'd like to thank Ken's Auto Electric in Midland Park, NJ for outfitting it with emergency lights, radios, and a public address system. The boat has already been on a number of search and rescue calls and drills. For more information on the boat, visit the apparatus page. Mike Ciampo of FDNY TL145 for coming to the firehouse and giving us a lecture on Midmount tower ladder operations and placement. Mike has 18 years with the FDNY and more than 25 years in the fire service all together. He lectures all over the United States and also does training articles & videos for Fire Enginneering. The Officers and members greatly appreciated Mike taking time out of his very busy schedule to come and share his knoledge with the Company. The new Truck 1 is now in service and fully operational. For more information, please visit FireEngineering.com and NYFireTraining.com Dec 22, 2007: The New Truck is Here!!  Company 1 announced the delivery of its new 2007 KME 95' midmount aerial apparatus.  The new truck will be phased into service in the next few months after the equipment is transferred over and the members are trained proficiently.  Until it is put into service, the new truck will be housed in the specially modified "Truck 1 Bay".  The Old Truck 1 will be in the "Engine 1 Bay", and Engine 1 will be in the "Squad 1 Bay".
